Ordner Swenson

Ordner E. Swenson, age 81, died Friday, January 28, 2005, at MeritCare South, Fargo, ND. Ordner was born on June 6, 1923, at Kindred, ND, son of Theodore and Selma Swenson. He grew up and graduated from Kindred High School. He married Dolores Krabbenhoft on October 14, 1950, at Kindred, ND. Ordner farmed from 1949 until 1980 in the Kindred area. Mr. Swenson then worked for the Kindred Oil Company and the Kindred Farmers Elevator until 1993, when he retired. Ordner and Dolores moved to Fargo in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Swenson, Fargo, ND; one son, Douglas (JoAnne) Swenson, Kindred, ND; three daughters, Lynn (Dan) Madsen, Casselton, ND, Karen (Wes) Anderson, Maple Grove, MN, and Nancy (Robyn) Nettum, Buxton, ND; one brother, Loren (Betty) Swenson, Denver, CO; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral for Mr. Swenson will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Norman Lutheran Church, rural Kindred, ND. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, ND. Burial will be at the Kindred Cemetery, Kindred, ND.
