Oretha Manu Cole Bureh, 60, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2022, at God’s Favor Ministries International Moorhead MN 56560.
Oretha Manu Cole Bureh was born in Monrovia, Liberia on June 3rd, 1962, the daughter of Thomas Cole Snr. and Hawah Sonii Cole of Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia, West Africa. She married Abu Thomas Tuner Bureh and was blessed with five children.
She attended St. Theresa Convent Catholic School, attended high school in Bompe, Sierra Leone, West Africa, and graduated from the University of Liberia, Monrovia in 1989 with honors.
Manu became a Catholic when she married Mr. Abu Tuner Bureh at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Monrovia. Her life was an exemplary model of faith, loyalty, and integrity for her family, and friends.
She left to cherish her memory her loving family and children, Emmanuel Bureh. Jejeh Bureh, Isatta Bureh Tiahgan, Gerald Bureh, John S. Bureh, Elfreda Bureh Sheriff; Father Matthew Abu Cole, SMA, Doctor & Mrs. Morris Annie M. Cole Koffa, Thomas Sandie Cole, Jnr., Kadie Cole, Siatta Cole Kieta; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Cole, Snr., and mother, Hawah Sonii Cole.

How I wish today’s haven’t arrived but thanks to God for the life well lived grandma. It’s the reality that I won’t get to receive calls, text and advices from you after today, my heart is so hurt cause you’re irreplaceable with love, care and affection shown us there’s nowhere it’s going to be found. Rest on grandma and this is a promise to you that I will always be strong and live your legacy to be a successful and a proud grandson left behind love you with everything till it hurts 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
