Patricia Joyce

Patricia (Pat) J Joyce, 81, of Horace, ND, passed peacefully away on April 16, 2022, at Eventide Fargo.

Pat (Patty) was born at Saint Luke’s to John and Hazel Brosell, lived on a farm in Normanna and Warren Township in Cass County, North Dakota. Being an only child, Patty drove tractors and a grain truck at a very young age and was proud of it. Patty attended Concordia College where she met the love of her life of 61 years, Frank Joyce. During their lives, Frank and Pat traveled the world for Frank’s job with Boeing. They enjoyed all the adventures and new places they experienced. In total, they moved 18 times. Pat found time to enjoy a few part-time jobs, and enjoyed being a wife and mother. Pat and Frank retired to Horace, ND, to take care of their family, and made many new friends in their forever home in North Dakota. Pat leaves behind her two wonderful children, Nancy (Scott) Shepard and Eric Joyce, sister-in-law Mary (Paul) Lindsey, brother-in-law David (Kim) Joyce, cousin Clarence Jermstad and a granddaughter, Johanna Joyce.

Pat is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank, her parents, Aunts and Uncles.

A memorial service will be held June 16, 2022 at Fredrikson-Boulger Funeral Chapel in Kindred, ND at 11 AM with lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
