Patricia Posch passed peacefully on November 16, 2022. She didn’t quite make it to her birthday.

She was born on November 19, 1930 at Elbow Lake, MN to Arnold (Bingo) Christianson and Myrtle Peterson Christianson. She was born at home weighing 3 lbs and was not expected to survive. But look at the long life she led. Her mother Myrtle remarried so Pat moved to Argusville, ND in 1942. She was adopted by Hope D Veitch. She graduated from Argusville High School in 1948. The went on to attend Interstate Business College.

In July 1951 she married Leonard J Posch then made their home in Argusville to raise their family. Pat worked at the Argusville Post Office for 10 years and helped on the farm until Leonard’s death in 1991. She was active in the church, school, and community. So in 1991 made the move to Fargo met many friends to start a new journey. She decided to move to Bethany in 2016 where she resided till her passing.

Pat is survived by four children Deborah Posch (Dan Amundson), Rebecca Flatness (Steve Akason), John (Cathy) Posch, Jeffery (Deborah) Posch, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert J (Erma) Veitch, Douglas (Barbara) Veitch; sister Jean Veitch, and two grand children Brandon John Posch and Travis Leonard Posch.

  2. Sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. It has been years since I have seen your Mom but remember when growing up she was so nice..My parents Jim and Marvel Kapaun were friends with Leonard and Pat when I was growing up. When I saw the obit, it back memories of years ago. Peace to your family.

  3. So sorry to hear this. She was really nice to me. I was a go to babysitter for her and Leonard most of my growing up years. Rest easy now. Hugs to all
