Patricia A. (Langenfeld) Vacek Patricia A. Vacek, age 59, of Fargo, ND died November 26, 2007 in her home. Patricia Langenfeld was born on September 29, 1948 in Omaha, NE to O.J. (Bud) and Carmel (Heffron) Langenfeld. She grew up in Omaha, NE and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1966. She attended Creighton University where she received her B.S. in Nursing. Patricia and Alan Vacek were married on July 18, 1970 in Omaha, NE. They lived in Ohio, New York, Iowa, and moved to North Dakota in 1983. She worked as a nurse at Meritcare in Orthopedics from 1990 until 2005. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. She was a person of great faith and love who cared unselfishly for others. She is survived by her husband, Alan, Fargo, ND; her children, Mike (Kelly), Little Falls, MN, Craig (Kim), Lincoln, NE, Tim (Kari), New Richmond, WI, Beth, Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, MiKel, Joelle, Hunter, Joe, Abby, Kate, Maggie; sister, Mary Jo (Steve), Franco, Omaha, NE, her brothers, John (Nancy) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE, Michael (Colleen) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE, and her father, O.J. (Bud) Langenfeld, Omaha, NE; nephews and nieces. Out of Pat?s deep respect for life, the family requests memorials to Saint Gianna?s Maternity Home, 15605 County Road 15, Minto, ND 58261.
