Patrick Ruddy

Patrick E. Ruddy Fargo, North Dakota Patrick Edward Ruddy, age 74, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2007 at MeritCare Palliative Care Unit on University Drive. Pat was born on March 17, 1933 in Fargo, ND. He was raised and attended schools in Grand Forks, ND. He served 4 years in the Navy as a Medic during the Korean Conflict. Patrick married Miriam Lamb on July 19, 1958. He owned and operated Duffy?s Tavern in Grand Forks until 1967. He then owned and operated Duffy?s Tavern in Fargo until its sale on November 24, 2006. Pat is survived by his wife, Miriam and his sister, Mary Anne (Michael) Hayes of Fairfax, VA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edward Ruddy and Catherine M. Ruddy; and his brother Michael L. Ruddy.
