Paul A. Hoss, 83, 1462 12th St. N., Fargo, died Saturday, October 11, 2003, at Bethany Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Paul was born in Fargo June 21, 1920, to John and Clara Hoss. He attended St. Mary?s Elementary and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo. In 1940 Paul enlisted in the National Guard serving in the 164th Infantry in World War II. After his discharge in 1942 Paul worked for a short time in an electric shop and then at Welu Dental Laboratory as an apprentice and remained there until retirement in 1988. On July 14, 1947 Paul married Verna Huber in Fargo. During his lifetime, Paul was an avid hunter, enjoyed many fishing trips with his friends, golf, bowling, and was interested in all sports. His other hobbies were gardening, photography, and specialty cooking. Paul is survived by his wife; two sons, Ryan (Debbie), Jeff (Vickie); grandchildren, Matt (Tanya), Katie, Kari, all of Fargo and Corey (Keri), Minneapolis. Also surviving is one brother, Frank (Aggie), Omaha. Preceding him in death were his mother, father, a sister, and three brothers. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday at Boulger Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Mavis Whiting Chapel at Bethany Homes.
