Raul Cuellar

Raul Cruz Cuellar was born November 17, 1944 to Severo Cuellar and Clara Fernandez Cuellar in Uvalde, Texas. Raul was a hardworking family man who throughout his life held many occupations such as cook at his local hometown “hotspot” drive in restaurant the Derby Drive In. He also worked as a migrant worker, truck driver, driller in the oil rigs. His biggest passion was being a cook which led to him owning his Tejano Café in a LaJunta, Colorado for a short period of time. Raul enjoyed family time with his wife Guadalupe Cuellar and all 9 kids they shared, along with numerous grandkids. Raul is preceded in death by his father, Severo C. Cuellar, his mother, Clara F. Cuellar; his sisters Ramona Barerra, Amelia Aguilar, Hilberto Cuellar, Eva Diaz. Raul is survived by his siblings, Rebeca Garcia, Richard Cuellar; his wife Guadalupe Cuellar; his children, Frank Reyes (Anna Gunvalson), Johnny Reyes (Veronica Reyes), Betty Reyes Torres, Mirella Lopez (Ruben Lopez), Noemi Littles, Severo Cuellar, Arturo Cuellar (Cecilia Mendez), Alberto Cuellar (Griselda Cuellar), Yesenia Cortz, Valerie Merritt.
