Raymond Rutten, 71, Fargo passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Sanford Health, Fargo.
Ray was born December 7, 1948 in Fargo, North Dakota to Anton and Fredarica (Finneman) Rutten. He attended grade school in Wild Rice and high school at Central Cass before going to work on the family farm. He worked as a certified welder for many years throughout Fargo/Moorhead.
Although quiet, Ray had a big heart and would help people in need. He didn’t judge anyone and enjoyed a simple, humble life. He was very connected with where he was from, and enjoyed spending time in those places.
He is survived by his children; Brad (Trisha) Rutten, Fargo, ND, Joshua Rutten, Fargo, ND, grand-daughter; Hailey Thornton, Fargo, ND, sisters; Linda Bellamare, Fargo, ND, Bonnie Rutten, Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.

Brad so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We never get over the loss of our loved ones we just get thru it.
