Rhoda Bramble

Rhoda L. Bramble, 85, Fargo passed away Sunday, January 24 in the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Rhoda was born on a farm near Park River, ND on July 3, 1924, the daughter of Palmer and Lena (Ulberg) Levin. She grew up on the family farm seven miles west of Park River. She graduated from Park River High School and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She spent 40 years teaching in the Auburn California School District. In 2005, Rhoda returned to Fargo where she resided at Waterford at Harwood Groves until her death. Rhoda is survived by her sisters; Marvel Setness, Andover MN, and Mavis Bale, Fargo ND, step-son; Blain Bramble, Hawaii, and many nieces and nephews. Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ben Bramble, brother, Curtis and an infant brother. Rhoda was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing the piano. There will be a memorial service on Friday, January 29 at 10am in Waterford at Harwood Groves, Fargo. Burial: Garfield Cemetery, Edinburgh ND.
