  4. Oh Berta and her treasures! And the laughs we always had opening up those boxes she’d put the most random things in 😅 I had many memories of ‘christmas morning’ presents to open with my best friend Alessandra DiAllesandro of 25 years. It was always like the quote from the movie ‘Forrest Gump’
“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”
Not to mention Berta’s contagious laugh when she knew she had gotten you started! Oohfda Fidda! Oh the laughter! 🥰

  8. To Roberta’s family
I am so sorry for your loss, Roberta was such amazing woman, so loved and loving. She always made me laugh, her sense of humor was fantastic! I will never forget the time Mary was on the phone with her (Roberta at NDSU and we were at Wells Fargo teller line). She was telling Mary something and somehow we got her to think Human Resources was calling; put us on hold. When we started laughing, she figured out we were together and HR was not calling, I thought she was going to come through the phone and smack us both! We laughed and laughed, and so did Roberta! You will be in my prayers and I pray your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.

  9. When Roberta was around, we knew there would be laughter, sarcasm in the nicest way, intrigue, and an engaging conversation. We still have the candy dish “treasure” I received for my retirement – it was filled at Christmas time and a clutch purse she gave me many years ago because she knew it would match an outfit I wore. My favorite memory will be Wally and Roberta playing the Newlywed Game at a Staff/Retiree party. Oh, my stars – we laughed! She was unique and well loved. We are so very grateful to have known Roberta.

  10. Sympathies to all of Roberta’s family & especially to you Wally. Keep the many good memories close to your hearts 💞
