Roger L. Kurtz, 61, Davenport, North Dakota passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his home farmstead in Davenport. Roger was born September 18, 1956 in Fargo, North Dakota to Alfred and Lois (Appel) Kurtz. He graduated from Kindred High School. He began working on the family farm, where he helped Alfred with the farm duties. He went to work for Crystal Sugar from 1997-1999 seasonally, before going full-time from 1999-2013. After retiring from Crystal Sugar, he started working on the Brad Kellerman farm where he worked up until his passing. Roger loved his animals, especially his cats. He like working on equipment and will be missed by his friends and family. Roger is survived by his siblings; Ronald (Belinda) Kurtz, Sabin, MN, Carol (Donald) Olgeirson, West Fargo, ND, nieces; Beth Olgeirson and Jennifer Kurtz, nephews; Derek Olgeirson and Jordan Kurtz, step-nephews, Paul Olgeirson and Michael (Amanda) Olgeirson. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 1:00 P.M.
