Ron’s service will be livestreamed below starting 10:00 AM Wednesday August 17, 2022.
Ron Leon passed away on August 9th, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born the youngest of 4 children on September 23, 1942, at Aneta, North Dakota. At 6 years old the family moved to Argusville where Ron spent many years growing up there. He moved up to Finley at the age of 14 to work on his uncle Emil Brager Farm.
In the spring of 1963, he met the lady who’d be come the love of his life. In the fall of 1963, they again met and began dating-in 1964 on October 4th they were united in marriage. This union produced two sons and one daughter, Timothy (Fargo), Todd (Fargo), Michelle (West Fargo), 2 grandchildren, Brandon Seibel (Sarah Hanson, Fargo), Breanna Schroeder, Christopher, Harmony, and Destiny. 2 special nieces, Julie Rohrich and Kari Caine, several nephews, Justin, Austin, William Rohrich and sister Sophie Rohrich, Dawson, and Alex Caine.
Ron was ready to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. A good cup of coffee and a cookie. He loved the outdoors-fishing, hunting, and bowling. He was a member of the St. Andrews Mission Society- went on several mission trips to Mexico- He loved helping people. Ron had a natural whit, loved to play jokes. Most of all he loved his children, grandchildren, and the love of his life for almost 58 years.
A special thank you to the staff of Ethos Hospice and a heartfelt thank you to Hailey for your gentle and caring ways. And a very, very special thank you to the most amazing grandson for all the love and great care you gave to your grandpa during the last 2 months of his life. He was so proud of the man you’ve become.

To the family of Ron Leon- First, my sincere condolences. I worked with Ron for many years at Cass County. He was a great person and a wonderful employee. He always had a smile on his face. He made every day seem like a good day. While I am unable to attend the service because we are in Florida, my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. RIP Ron.
I worked with Ron at Adesa and we live in same park. Ron was always enjoyable to work with and wonderful to chat with. He always seemed to be happy and smiling, which makes everyone’s day a little brighter. He will be missed.
