Ronald Nelson
March 10, 1950 ~ August 8, 2022
Ronald Ray Nelson, age 72, passed away under Sanford hospice care on August 8, 2022.
Ron was the son of Ray and Lucille Nelson of Hannaford, ND. He graduated from NDSU, and lived and worked in LA for many years before moving back to ND where he worked until retiring in 2021.
He is survived by his Weimaraner dogs Tobryn and Tallyn, sister Lois (Orin) Score, nephew Paul (Nicole) Score, Dylan, Devin, JoHanna, Jameson, niece Jill (John) Sobota, Noah, Gabrielle, Sophia, Addison, Victoria, nephew John (Jess) Score, Ava, Alec, Carson, and many cousins.
He has requested no service.
Ron loved life, was an adventurous spirit and was fiercely independent.

He always made me laugh! Rest In Peace Ron
Ron would ride his horse over to my grandparents home (Clay & Anges Knapp). That was likely 60+years ago and I still recall his smile and lighthearted spirit!

Ron was an important part of the Cooperstown class of 1968. He was involved in music and played football. Ron had a great sense of humor and had many friends. More than a few of us recall fondly of Ron’s Dodge Dart and the often thrilling rides we had in it with him. We will miss you Ron.
Rip Ron, you had a wonderful smile and contagious laugh.
I loved you within the time and space we shared
Rest in Power Ron, I still have the wood stencils of Ron & Roc.
