Ronald G. Schiffner, 89, passed away July 1, 2026 at the Fargo VA with his family by his side.
Ronald was born on June 15, 1937 in Lisbon, ND to George and Gertrude (McDaniel) Schiffner. He attended school in Verona, ND and graduated from Verona High School in 1955.
He served in the United States Air Force as a fighter jet mechanic and later worked as a carpenter and farmed near Verona for many years.
Ronald met Beverly Willey in 1956 and they were married on July 20, 1957.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Beverly Schiffner, West Fargo, ND; children, Debra, Brooklyn Park, MN, Roger, Chicago, IL, Donald, Fargo, ND, and Peggy (Greg) Eull, Verona, ND; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude; brothers, John and Jim Schiffner; sister, Margaret (Pat Steinbert); son, David; and grandsons Dylon and Brandon.
