Avon InGrace, Garry & Leila I am so sorry to
read about the death of Roy. I was also
surprised that he has been living in
the Fargo area, I just moved to Indiana
on April 1, 2011 from Fargo.
I was talking about all of you just a few days ago, trying to remember how
old I was when I stayed at your place to
care for you and milk the cows while
your parents went to a Dr, in either
Bismarck or SD (I don’t remember where)
according to the year Roy was born I
was only 16. Roy was very small, it was
a good experience for me though.
You are in my thoughts and prayers and
my God be with you during this time of
sorrow.

I worked with Roy for his entire time in the elevator at the malt plant. Matter of fact, both Roy and I got our start at the malt plant the same way, working for Kelly Services in a Temp. position first before being hired by Busch. It is going to be so odd not having Roy around anymore. He had been working so hard toward retirement, now not to get to enjoy it is not right. It just shows us that we need to enjoy each day as if it is our last, because life goes by so fast. We are going to miss Roy in the elevator. My deepest sympathies to his family in this difficult time. I wish I could attend the funeral, but I am scheduled to work and can’t rearrange the hours to accommodate being there.
