Ruth Ann Maixner, 94, Fargo passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo.
Ruth Bosh was born November 29, 1918 at Lankin, North Dakota, the daughter of Adolph and Rose (Bina) Bosh. She grew up and attended school in that area.
Ruth Bosh and George Maixner were married in Lankin, North Dakota on November 12, 1941. They lived in Hoople, North Dakota for a short time before moving to Fargo in 1943. She owned and operated Ruth’s Café on Main Street in Fargo for many years. Ruth and George have lived in Fargo since their retirement. After George’s retirement he started Maixner Lawn Service with Ruth at his side helping him with lawns. Ruth also enjoyed hunting geese and ducks and fishing with George.
She is survived by her husband George and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
