Ryan William Murray
February 23, 1956 ~ March 25, 2026
Born in:
Crookston , Minnesota
Resided in:
Fargo, North Dakota
Ryan William Murray passed away on March 25, 2026, peacefully and with family, at his home in Fargo, ND.
Ryan was born on February 23, 1956, in Crookston, MN. He grew up on a farm in Donaldson, MN, graduating from Kennedy High School and attending college at the University of Minnesota Morris. He was a girl dad, raising two daughters who thought the world of him. Ryan married Barb on October 20, 1990, and spent many years in Eagan, MN, where he had so many friends that loved him. In 2023, he and Barb made the selfless decision to move to Fargo, ND, to take care of his father, which is a great reflection of who he was as a person.
Ryan was fun, loving, and very passionate about family and sports. He was the one to ask if you had a sports question, and most of the time, he knew the answer. He loved being a husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. And they all loved him back just as much. He will be missed beyond what words can describe.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Idell (Oien) Murray.
Ryan is survived by his wife Barb Murray and daughters Alison (Travis) Pearce of Zimmerman, MN and Liz (Peter) Cannon of Burnsville, MN; his grandchildren Damien (Katelyn) Pearce of Davenport, ND and Camieo Pearce; brothers Robert (Barb) Murray of Glenwood Springs, CO and Rich (Deb) Murray of Lusk, WY; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Ryan was a neighbor as we were growing up -always kind, he was a bit older but shared bus rides to school Idell and Don were my Sunday school teachers
