Sadie "Sarah" Erdmann

Sadie ?Sarah? Erdmann Hillsboro, North Dakota Formerly of Enderlin, North Dakota Sarah passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Long Term Care Facility at the age of 93. Sarah Knutson was born on November 23, 1914, near Lucca, ND. She grew up in this area and attended country school. Sarah was united in marriage to August Erdmann on November 23, 1944. After their marriage they made their home on a farm near Enderlin. August and Sarah farmed for many years and she began working at the Hillcrest Manor in Enderlin after they raised their family. August passed away in 1980. Sarah moved to Hillsboro in 1992 where she lived at the Kiwanis Housing and moved to the Hillsboro Medical Center long term care facility in 2005. Sarah will be remembered for her great sense of humor and wonderful witt. Sarah is survived by her children, Melvin (Judy) Erdmann of Hillsboro; Darlene Sell (David Crater) of Sioux Falls, SD; Earl (Marcia) Erdmann of Alice, ND; and Gene (Bonnie) Erdmann of Circle Pines, MN; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, August; and her siblings, Bascel Knutson, Orrin Knutson, Harriet Watterud, and Inez Bjornson.
