Sally died on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital at the age of 80.

Selma A. Finstrom was born on March 10, 1930, at Simcoe, ND, the daughter of Henning and Anna Finstrom. As a small child she moved to Buxton where she grew up. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended school at rural Buxton and Mayville High School. She moved to Tucson, AZ returning to this area in 1950. She married Virgil Larson of Hillsboro at Buxton on October 25, 1952. They farmed at Hillsboro and she worked at various jobs, retiring from Norwest Bank in Hillsboro in 1985 after 26 years. The Larson's enjoyed traveling, spending many winters in Arizona. They were collectors of many things, their pets, gardening and many friends. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was an active worker until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lenning Aubol, her brother in law, Duane Ellingrud, and her sister, Gunvor Ellingrud. She is survived by her brothers, Henry Finstrom of Mayville, ND, and Carl Finstrom of Buxton; her sister in law, Donna Simmons of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Hillsboro Medical Center for all of their wonderful care given to Sally over the past years.
