Sandra Jeanne (Berg) Moen passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Sandra was born July 18, 1938, to Julian and Helene (Hagen) Berg in Grand Forks, ND. She attended country school, Brenna 13, and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1956. She also attended some classes at the University of North Dakota. She was employed for a time by Grand Forks Central High School.

Sandra and Bruce were married on July 18, 1959, at Evanger Lutheran Church, rural Grand Forks, ND. They moved to Hillsboro in 1961. Sandra worked at the Hillsboro Elementary School for a few years, and American Crystal Sugar Company, retiring in 2000. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the lake, golfing, reading, and playing cards.

Sandra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim & Todd Volden, son David (Deb Johnson), and daughter and son-in-law Linda & Ridge Fatland. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Katie & Chris Woodcock, Benjamin & Carter; Lucas Fatland (Ashley Jurina and her son Elio), Zoë; Matt Volden; and Keisa & Steve Lade; sisters-in-law Bev (Ron) Berg; Karen Moen; brother-in-law Grant Moen; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, parents Julian and Helene Berg, sister Bev, brother Ron, infant brother Dennis, and in-laws Art & Laura Moen.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 AM Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro – with a gathering one hour prior (Live streamed on the funeral home website)
BURIAL: Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro

Lunch will be served in the lower level social hall following the service.
