Saravina Marion Richter (known as Sara) was born in Selz, ND on February 23, 1919 to George and Elizabeth (Lesmeister) Richter and passed away on Sunday,       January 4, 2015 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley and the staff of Fraser Ltd.

She lived with her family until her admission to Grafton State School in January 1951, and moved to Fargo     September 1, 1988 and has received services through Fraser Ltd. until her death. 

She will be remembered for her enjoyment of music and singing, often old hymns, eating suckers, her love of looking at magazines, and her lovely wavy hair.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mike; and six sisters, Theresa, Emma, Ida, Francis, Catherine, and Eva Radtke and her daughter, Annetta.

She is survived by her great-niece, Annetta’s daughter,  Largo Callenbach,   Mission, KS, and lovingly cared for and visited Sara for years.; and many friends and caregivers.

    I had the privilege of taking care of Sara for 5 beautiful years. Sara was a vibrant women. Sara was very happy,feisty women. Sara will be missed by all of her staff and family from the Fraser facility. Sara rest well in Heaven.
