Scott Holden, loving father, brother, and son, passed away June 1, 2024 in Fargo, ND at the age of 58.

Scott Holden was born on September 18, 1965, in Fargo, ND, to George and Ilene Holden. A graduate of Fargo South High School in 1984, Scott furthered his education in culinary arts. His career as a locksmith in the Fargo Moorhead area allowed him to showcase his skills.

Outside of work, Scott found joy in playing guitar, fishing, hunting, and grilling for his loved ones. His happy place was his cousins farm in Galesburg, ND, where he cherished spending time. Scott was beloved for his caring nature, infectious sense of humor, and his ability to brighten anyone’s day with a smile.

Scott’s world revolved around his family, who meant everything to him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be forever cherished by those who knew him.

Scott is survived by his children, Dalton and Kinsey Holden; mother, Ilene (Sonny) Clemenson; sister, Hollie (Tony) Ibach; nephews, Tyler and Chandler Ibach; aunts and uncles, Orlin Rud, Harold (Lynda) Rud, Marlow (Pam) Rud, Wayne (Pam) Rud, Bud (Mary) Holden; and many cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his dad, George; grandparents, Orland Sr, Inez and Odin Rud; and aunt and uncle, Darlene and Kenny Peterson.

  12. So sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. He was always so welcoming, and willing to go out of his way to help any way he could when we lived next to him. We always enjoyed his company, stories, and the garlic pretzels he would make. Our condolences to all the family.
