Sharon Lenger

Sharon J. (Neuberger) Lenger, 84, of Moorhead, Minnesota passed peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025. Born April 11, 1941, she made her career as a drug and alcohol counselor. A spunky and driven individual, she had a keen sense of fashion, quick wit and a striking nose. She enjoyed cooking heirloom recipes, retelling hilarious stories, family reunions and getting together to play Pinochle. Her boisterous laugh will be missed by many.

Sharon was predeceased by her son, Michael, parents, Carl and Irene, and brother Jeffrey.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Cindy; grandchildren Aaron, David and James “JJ”; and great-grandchildren Alexie, Gracey and Alizabeth; and many extended relatives. She is remembered fondly by her dear friends at Eventide and special niece, April Hodges.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Eventide for their excellent care. She often expressed gratitude for being amongst such kind and capable caregivers.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Eventide Chapel, 1405 7th St. South, Moorhead, Minnesota.
