Sheldon’s prayer service and funeral service will be livestreamed below starting at 7 PM Monday May 8 and 11 AM Tuesday May 9.

Sheldon Loren Hage, 63, of Fargo, ND passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 2nd at Mayo Clinic in Rochester from complications following a procedure.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 8th at Boulger Funeral home from 5-7pm followed by a prayer service at 7 pm. Funeral services will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 9th at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Richland Lutheran Church Cemetery near Walcott, ND following the funeral.

Sheldon was born in Breckenridge, MN to E. Loren and Claudette Hage on May 1st, 1960. At a young age, they moved to the family farm near Colfax, ND. He graduated from Richland 44 High school in 1978. He attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton and graduated with a degree in heating and air conditioning systems.

Sheldon married his wife, Jamie Beilke, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND on August 22nd, 1987. They made their home in Fargo where Sheldon worked at Mechanical Insulation until his recent retirement. They raised three beautiful daughters.

Sheldon was an avid outdoorsman who never missed a chance to go hunting with family or friends. He was very handy and could fix (nearly) everything, following in the footsteps of his father. Sheldon enjoyed watching his daughter’s sporting events and had other hobbies including golfing and spending time at the family’s lake cabins. He could watch the same episodes of any western series over and over. Later in life, Sheldon took pride in playing for hours on end with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

Recently, Sheldon was battling a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma. After a few long months of chemotherapy treatment he was prepared to undergo a stem cell transplant at Mayo. The transplant process had just gotten underway when unforeseen complications occurred. His family and friends are deeply saddened that his chance to reach long term remission was cut short.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie of 35 years and their three daughters, Miranda (Sam Poferl), Champlin, MN, Stephanie, Fargo, ND, and Lauren (DeSean) Thompson, Fargo, ND. Sheldon was the proud Papa of two boys, Noah and Liam, with one additional grandson on the way. Other survivors include his four brothers, Keith (Judy) Hage, Brad (Leslie) Hage, Jeff (Eileen) Hage, Joel Hage along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Sheldon was preceded in death by his parents, E. Loren and Claudette Hage; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Hage; maternal grandparents, Peter and Leobelle Stollenwerk; nephews, Damon Hage and Gaige Hage; and niece, Kirsten Herding.
