Shirley was my mother’s cousin. We met her during her visits to Arizona and California, and always enjoyed conversing with her. Her energy and cheerfulness were inspiring to me.
I met Shirley at my momther-in- law Marion Gilby’s 75th birthday party, in North Carolina. Marion and Shirley were cosigns. Shirley was a very delightful, kind and adventurous person. She always kept in contact with us to let her know of her travels and family updates. She was someone I thoroughly admired and I hope I have as much of an adventurous spirit as she did. She will really be missed.
I will miss you my dear cousin and traveling buddy as we had many good times running around the country together. You were truly a blessing in my life and I will always be happy I could be a part of yours. My memories of our times together will remain with me forever, and you leave a void no one else can fulfill. Until we meet again.
I love you Aunt Shirley! You will be greatly missed. Thank you for blessing my life.
