Simon Witt, of West Fargo, ND passed to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Sanford Hospice House at the age of 77.

Simon was born on November 25, 1946, in Beulah, North Dakota, the son of Reinhold and Lydia (Genther) Witt. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Sorry for the family’s loss with the passing of Simon. Guessing Bill was looking forward to getting together once again. I’ve personally for over 30 years, mostly through work at American Welding Supplies, and more recently Gerdau Recycling. We’ll miss him! God Bless The Memory of Simon Witt!

  2. Simon was a good, hard working man, and I am happy to have known him.
He squeezed the heck out of a dollar and squeezed the heck out of life! My favorite memory was when he was talking to the wild turkey roaming the area. I would hear him and would giggling.
My sympathy goes out to all who love Simon. ❤️

  5. Shelly, Please know that I’ve been thinking of you and your family. I’m very sorry for the loss of your Dad. I wish I could be there for you but I’m waiting on prescriptions and can’t make the train schedule work. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know. Even if you just need someone to listen to you, I’m always here for you. All my love

  6. Sorry to hear of Simon’s passing. We met while he was on his frequent “treasure” hunts. Very likable and funny, too! My condolences to his family.

  7. I have known Simon when he started his shop on Main Ave and have spent many hours at his shop on 1st Ave N. We went to many lunches at the Sons of Norway. I will miss him terribly. I even painted his shop on 1st Ave. N.
