My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have known Skylar for years and he was such a good friend and always had that contagious smile. He always made me laugh and feel better. We use to drive around for hours and just talk. Sadly I haven’t seen him in a few years but he will forever be remembered. I am so sorry for your loss. No parent should ever lose their child. My daughter went to heaven on December 4, 2013 and I know how hard it is. Just know you are in my thoughts.

I am so sad about Skylar. I talked to him regularly when he came into Hornbachers. I truly enjoyed him. He always had a smile on his face and there was always a sparkle in his eye. This is a tragic loss. I will pray for you, Beth, and all your family.

  11. Dublin CaliforniaDear Beth and family,

I can say that I feel your pain even though I am miles away, but truly that would be an understatement of your profound sorrow. When we have to let our children go back Home, we cling to our faith that he lives forever now in heaven and there will be a reunion in God’s perfect time. You are surrounded by not only the love of your family and friends here, but also the heavenly host surrounds you with love. Even though I never met Skylar it’s obvious how much he was loved and how much he loved in return. I pray you will receive tender moments of these memories often. You are surrounded by love and many prayers, Beth. I’m sure Skylar was welcomed home by the Lord with “well done my good and faithful servant”. Being a mother, that brings tremendous comfort. Sending you hugs and love to you and your mom, sister and sons.

  12. Colorado Springs COI was friends with Skylar in high school. He always had a smile and hug waiting for me. When Skylar walked into the room the day seemed brighter. One day we out of cash and hungry and he ran home to get some snacks. He was always looking out for his friends. I pray for comfort and peace for his friends and family during this difficult time. God Bless!

  13. Beth, Aaron, Adam, and family,

I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Skylar is such a great guy and a wonderful neighbor. When we were neighbors, he was so helpful and was always there if needed. I enjoyed sitting on the steps laughing with him outside our houses. He was always laughing and made me laugh.. such a happy guy with a great big smile and a heart of gold! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, always.
