  33. Heart
    My heart wishes
    You had not left us
    Because I wanted you
    To stay so much longer

    But I know how hard
You fought each and every day
    So we could make
    More memories together

    I will forever treasure
    And hold in my heart
    Every precious minute
    Of those times together

    I also know
    With all my heart
You are in a better place
    And are now at peace

    So from my heart
    I simply must say
    So long my friend
    Until we meet again
    -Harley D. Reed, Jr.

  34. To Mr. and Mrs. Reed and the entire Reed family: It was my honor to babysit and get to know Sonja and her siblings when I was a high school student. Such a wonderful family and such a bright warm light emanating from young Sonja. May you find comfort in all of the great memories you have from your time with Sonja. From all that I’ve read, in her obituary and the guestbook comments, she mattered and made a positive difference in the lives of many. My sincere sympathy to all of you. May your memories keep Sonja’s spirit alive. Fondly, Pam

  35. To the Reed family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful daughter, sister, and a friend & inspiration to the many people lives she touched.
Sonja was one of the nicest and kindest person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I spent a number years with her in the Edgeley Schools and she was friends with many students, including me.

I know she fought a long, hard battle with cancer and somehow, she seemed to be able to keep her spirits up and stay positive. That’s a testament to her inner strength and faith in the Lord.

I know she’ll be missed by many; most definitely you, her family, and friends. I’m certain she made a positive difference in the many people’s lives she touched through her years in childcare, including the parents of those children. That is an amazing legacy!

God bless all of you at this difficult time, and I pray He continues to comfort you in the months to come. Sonja will live on through so many great memories. Hugs and love to all of you,
    Susan Lackman
