Stella Moug

Stella Moug, age 93, of Fargo passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo. Stella Pokorney was born on April 11, 1916 in Wyndmere, ND to John Pokorney and Emma Kouba. She grew up on a farm 3 miles East of Wyndmere. She graduated from Wyndmere High School and moved to Fargo where she attended Beauty School. Stella was united in marriage to Stanley Moug on September 7, 1946 in Fargo, ND. Stella was a stay at home mother and raised her family in Fargo. She loved to sew her own clothes, was a great cook and enjoyed baking for her husband and her family. Stella lived on her own until she was 91, after which she lived with her daughter, Pat and son, Jeff before entering Villa Maria in May of 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley. She is survived by a daughter, Pat Smeby of Fargo; two sons, Larry (Debra) Moug of Harwood, ND; and Jeff Moug of Horace, ND; a sister, Emily Lelm of Hankinson, ND. She is also survived by four grandchildren - Tricia Fossen, Becky Moug, Jason Smeby and Kristy Lorang; nine great grandchildren - Connor and Hanna Fossen, Casey, Noah and Sam Walker, Morgan, Nick and Zach Lorang, and Edward Smeby. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Monday at the Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND Online guestbook at www.boulgerfuneralhome.com
