Steven L. Krag, 56, Fargo passed away Monday, November 30 in his home. Steve was born June 4, 1953 to Robert and Jacqueline (Rutherford) Krag in Valley City, ND. He attended Nativity Catholic School and graduated from Fargo South High school in 1971. On September 6, 1975, Steve married Mari Lynn Krag in First Presbyterian church in Fargo, ND. Throughout Steve’s teenage years, he worked for Tri-State Auction, and Mexican Village Restaurant. Later he worked for Welu Dental Lab, he was a truck driver, and most recently was a contract driver for the Fargo Forum for over 30 years. Among many things, Steven enjoyed hunting, camping, and photography. He had a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews. He was a passionate fan of Vikings football, Bison football, and Sioux Hockey. He coached and managed his nephews park board little league baseball teams in Fargo. He dedicated his life to all of his family and everything they were involved in, including motorcycle racing, hockey, football, dance, gymnastics, figure skating, piano, and Tae Kwon Do. Steve was very proud of his service as a delegate in the State Democratic Convention of 1992. Steve is survived by his loving wife; Mari Lynn Krag, Fargo, his dad, Robert Krag, Fargo, brothers; Bob (Bobbie) Krag, Moorhead, MN, Jeff Krag, Stillwater, MN, sisters; Cory Krag, West Fargo, ND, Lisa (Mazi) Miar, Deephaven, MN, mother-in-law, Dula Bishop, sisters-in-law; Cathie Bishop (Paul Campbell), Sioux City, IA, Sherry Thompson, Detroit Lakes, MN, many nieces and nephews including; Tom, Jenny, Christa, Nicole, Amanda, Tanaya, Jeffrey Mark, Cody, Mindy, Sharz, Misha, Jon, Aimee, Stacy, and Matt, and 17 Great-Nieces and Nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his mother Jacqueline, grandparents, father-in-law, Keith Bishop and many aunts and uncles. There will be visitation on Friday, December 4 from 5-7 in Nativity Catholic Church, followed by a prayer service at 7. The funeral will be Saturday, December 5 at 10 in Nativity Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior the funeral in the church.
