Steven Ray Heier, age 72, passed away in the afternoon of August 5, 2024, at St. Catherine South in Fargo, ND.
Steve was born on December 29, 1951, in Jamestown, ND, to Raymond and Dorothy (Stelter) Heier. He enlisted in the US Marines in 1969 and served his country with great pride before being honorably discharged in 1971. He loved golf, music, and spending time with his friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Kay Heier, parents, Raymond and Dorothy Heier; sister, Linda Richardson; and nephew, Lonnie Schmidt.

Steve was a wonderful friend we played league pool together for many years, rest in peace my friend.
Long before cell phones and Google Stevie was the guy to call to ask the name of a song or a band. When phones had answering machines with tapes he would call late at night and leave a long message and forget to hang up. When cell phones came along he would leave long rambling messages that were a challenge to understand. But they were always entertaining!
There were so many humerous Stevie stories but the funniest was the night he called a cab to take him home to Wild Rice and woke up in Breckenridge!
Stevie I will miss you and I know Katie and DJ will too. But I’m sure you and Di and your puppies are having a blast up there. Rest in peace Stevie. Love you! Pami Sue
