Steve M. McGrath, 58, West Fargo passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Steve was born September 2, 1956 in Lisbon, ND to Michael and Lois (Douglas) McGrath. He graduated from Enderlin High School in 1974. He married Sharon Van Deusen on June 7, 1975 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Enderlin. They made their home in Glyndon for 24 years before recently moving to West Fargo. He worked as an electrician for the IBEW for many years. He was a state director for the Minnesota High School Rodeo Association for 6 years and enjoyed spending time with Rodeo community. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always keeping busy with different projects around the house and farm. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Sharon, West Fargo, ND; children, Danielle (Chris) Hillebrand, Fargo, ND, Devin (Alisa) McGrath, Belle Fourche, SD; grandchildren, Aspen and Ryker; sisters, Randy (Gary) Fraedrich, Barnesville, MN, Linda (Jerome) Skonseng, Wahpeton, ND, Julie (Byron) Stoffel, Kindred, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Aaron.
