We were sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I always enjoyed working with Steve in the real estate industry. We often compared notes with Steve as the realtor and myself as the lender. Always had a smile and was a very positive guy. RIP Steve…
I remember Steve from Messiah Lutheran sang in the choir with him . Enjoyed his guitar Sympathy to the family at this time Steve was a great guy
We wanted to tell you we loved and respected Steve. His integrity and kindness, honesty and goodhearted nature were always refreshing in our friendship. He worked hard at his job, and found a home we fell in love with for our six years in Fargo. As we reflect on his life, it reminded us of the promise Jesus made, when he was leaving this world, to his disciples; that He was going to prepare a place for us, that where He was, we could be also. When we think of your dad, helping people find good, suitable, and delightful homes, he understood this part of Jesus’ promise; that a good future home is one you look forward to, and makes your move more comforting. Now Steve has moved ahead of us, to our Eternal Home, enjoying rest from his labors, reunion with loved ones, and delight in the gifts of Heaven. You are torchbearers now, of the Light and Promise of Jesus, to share with this troubled and constantly moving world of people, that Jesus prepares a place for them, when they trust Him for salvation. May the comfort of peace be yours. We can see from the slide show of pictures how much Steve loved all of you!! “How great the Father’s love for us! How vast beyond all measure! That He should give his only son, to make a wretch (that’s us) His treasure!” This hymn describes God’s love for each of you, graciously shown and lived by your earthly father, in Steve’s exuberance, creativity, honesty, compassion, and deep love!
God be with you.
