Tammy Jo VanderBush, 47, Fargo passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home unexpectedly. Tammy VanderBush was born September 23, 1971 in Fargo, North Dakota to David and Tina (Hager) Swanson. Tammy grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1990. On July 20, 1991, Tammy married Wes VanderBush in Fargo, North Dakota. Tammy and Wes raised their two children, Ashley and Nicholas. Tammy worked at Sun Mart Foods as a bookkeeper for many years. She was also the Club Manager for the Fargo AmVets, a position she enjoyed the most working with so many people and organizations. She was preceded in death by her father, David Swanson, her mother, Tina Swanson, her sister Kristie Swanson, and her grandmother Anna Hager. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time at the family farm, in Michigan, ND. She is survived by her children, Ashley and Nick VanderBush, many aunts, uncles, & cousins. There will be a visitation from 5-7:00 PM with a memorial service following at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo.

  4. I am Tammy’s mother’s cousin. I did not see Tammy since she was very young. Recently though, at her grandmother Anna’s funeral, I was fortunate to have chatted with her. She reminded me so much of Fatima.

  7. I am saddened by your loss. Tammy worked with me both through Sunmart when I ordered for the Army weekend meals, she was also the best manager at AMVETS. There were many days she helped me with cooking , putting the baked potatoes in ovens. Always a great smile even though she was much younger than I.She loved people & I’m sure she loved family. RIP dear girl. I’m sure I have a few photos of the earlier days if you kids would like them.
