Tera Lea Burr

Tera Burr passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at Sandford Medical Center in Fargo ND, surrounded by her loving family. Tera was born to Curtis and Beatrice Kramer on September, 18th 1964 in Minnesota. Most of her childhood was spent in the small town of Euclid, MN and she later attended high school in Crookston, MN. Tera married David Burr on April, 25th 1986 in Crookston and they made their home and raised their children in East Grand Forks, MN. Tera and David later retired and moved to Badger, MN where they enjoyed the pleasures of living in a small town with a close-knit community. Tera thoroughly enjoyed living a more rural life during retirement, and loved seeing and taking photos of the wildlife her and David saw on their property. Tera was extremely active in the community and was cared for by many there. She enjoyed playing card games and bingo with friends and family. One of her favorite pastimes was going on weekly dates with her husband to the local diner in Badger and, weather permitting, cruising there in their classic 1957 Chevy bel air. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Tera. She loved having family gatherings, both big and small, and spending time with those she loved. She was a fantastic cook and had a wonderful sense of humor. She absolutely loved being a grandmother to her five grandchildren and would spend time with them whenever possible. She was a kind-hearted, gentle, sweet person who was a devoted wife and beloved mother, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband David Burr; sons Thomas (Vanessa) Burr, Paul (Stephanie) Burr, and Keith Burr, grandchildren Gage, Bo, Cote, Aiden, and Carter Burr; brothers Gary and Dean (Yvette) Kramer; sister Brenda (Jeff) Jacobs; and many nieces and nephews. Tera was preceded in death by her father Curtis Kramer, her mother Beatrice Kramer, her sister Jan Burgess, and her brother Randy Kramer. Celebration of Tera’s life will be held in the summer of 2022.
