Born in:
Moorhead, Minnesota
Resided in:
Fargo, North Dakota
With great sadness, we share with you that our brother, Terry Richard Krebs, died on January 13, 2025. He was born to Clarence and Lorene Krebs on March 17, 1970, at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead, MN. Terry was a fraternal twin to his brother, Todd.
Terry grew up and attended school in Barnesville, MN. Terry was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin, MN. Our memories of these years include playing softball in Baker, scouting with pinewood derbies, 4-H, and his artistic talents (please wave to the person painted on the backside of the quonset on Old Hwy 52).
Terry joined the Army following high school and was honorably discharged with four years and four months of service. After the military, he worked a variety of jobs including flooring with his brother, Steve. He became physically disabled in 2014. He continued to work various shift and day labor opportunities. Life was not always easy but he found joy in the simple pleasures in his life and often would chuckle in the not-so-pleasant times. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to sing karaoke, was able to keep his RV running and was kind to everyone.
He loved his family, his beloved dog, Duck, the Minnesota Vikings, and Mountain Dew. Terry was proud he had served in the Army and of his service to the USA. Terry lived life on his own terms, the way he wanted. He was mobile in his RV and was able to come and go as he pleased.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd, parents, Clarence and Lorene, and grandparents.
We miss you and we love you! Until we see each other again….
Terry is survived by his beloved dog Duck, siblings Scott (Jamie), Shari (George), Stacy (Robert), Steve (Bobbie), and Brian (Svenja) along with nieces and nephews: Aloura, Sonja, Noah, Griffin, Tessa, Kalene, Katy, Landon and Sabrina. He is also survived by his “children” Abby, Mike, Heather, and Jamie.
Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Fargo Police Department, the Fargo Pound, his friends, and others who lent a hand to Terry during his times of need. All of us greatly appreciate your care and concern.
A graveside celebration of Terry’s life with military honors will be held on Friday, April 18th, at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
