Theresia Ludwig

Theresia Ludwig, 83, of Fargo, died January 9, 2010 in her home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family. Theresia, daughter of Wendelin and Eva Richter was born March 16, 1926, and raised on a farm near Esmond, ND. Theresia married Michael S. Ludwig, November 17, 1947 and moved from Harvey, ND to Fargo in 1951. She was a homemaker first and donated time to the VFW Auxiliary and church. She was especially active making and donating quilts to World Relief through Bethesda Church and of course quilts for the family. Theresia is preceded in death by her parents and 5 of her 13 brothers and sisters. Theresia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Michael; 4 sons: Damian(Carol), Fargo; Michael P. (Roxanne), Fargo; Dana (Terri), Grand Junction, Co.; Darcy (Dawn), Woodbury, MN; a daughter, Edena (Steve) Rinke, Wheaton, MN, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family expresses their deep appreciation for the support received from Hospice of the Red River Valley, “White” Team. The family wishes memorials in Theresia’s memory be sent to the Hospice of the Red River Valley. There will be a visitation on Monday, January 11 from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7 in Boulger Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, January 12 at 2:30 in Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo.
