Thomas E. Pederson, 64, of Hillsboro, ND passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 15, 2025.

Tom was born on September 17, 1960 to Gene and Marlene Pederson.

Tom spent his early years in Georgetown, MN (living for a few years in Felton, MN).

In the early 1980’s Tom moved to Hillsboro, ND to be closer to his work. Tom worked for American Crystal Sugar for over 30 years. He then worked for Jay Boeddeker who then sold the company to Anchor Ingredients where he was currently employed.

Tom was an avid hunter, fisherman and had a passion for restoring older vehicles, especially his blazers. Tom and his twin brother Tim were very competitive always trying to outdo each other in hunting, fishing, racing their horses, cars, motorcycles, and snowmobiles.

Tom leaves behind his loving partner of 27 years Cindy Fuglem; siblings, Debbie Pacholke (Vaughn Chesrown), Monte and Pam Pederson, Larry Pederson, Cindy Meyer, Tim and Marie Pederson; half-sister, Claire Garcia; brother-in-law, Tom Pacholke; daughters, Kasey Hannestad, Jennifer Hell, Jessica Young; son, Kevin Guenthner; and nine special grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Marlene Pederson.

The family is holding a prayer service on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1pm in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 204 E. Caledonia Ave. Hillsboro, ND.

  8. Sorry to here of Toms passing, going to miss the chats we had about Allis garden tractor and the work he was doing on his blazers, enjoyed the visits and working with Tom ,sending sympathies to the family.
