Thomas Flashe

Thomas L. Flashe, 73, Fargo, died Saturday, February 15, 2003, at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Thomas L. Flashe was born January 2, 1930, in Fargo. He grew up and attended schools in Fargo, graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in 1947. He then attended North Dakota State University and during this time served in the North Dakota Air National Guard. Mr. Flashe joined the St. Paul Insurance Company in 1956 and was with them until his retirement in 1984. After retirement he continued to work for the H&H Insurance Company, Fargo, and was currently employed there. JoAnne T. Theisen and Tom Flashe were married on April 7, 1956, in St. Mary's Cathedral, Fargo. They lived in Fargo until December of 1966 when they moved to Minot, where they lived until July 28, 1969, when they moved to Bismarck. After leaving Bismarck they lived in Woodbury, Minnesota until April 20, 1983, when they returned to Fargo. They have lived here since. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1991. He is survived by his son, Michael, Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Mary Jo Young (Bill), Woodbury, MN; grandchildren, Tommy and Billy Young; brother-in-law, Gary (Barbara) Theisen, Chanhassen, MN; sister-in-laws, Muriel (Harvey) Moos, Auburn, WA, and Paulette (Vinai) Boonprom, Auburn, WA, and Ramona Flashe, Fargo; and special friend, Betty Helland, Moorhead, MN. Funeral 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, Church of the Nativity, Fargo Prayer Service 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Boulger Funeral Home Chapel Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the church. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo
