Langdon North Dakota I worked in the tailor shop at Straus for Tibor in the late 60’s. I grew to love Tibor. He was sometimes a tough task master but I learned a great deal from him. I always enjoyed his stories of the old country, especially of the Gabor sisters family that had a jewelry store down the street from his fathers tailor shop.
Tibor was a special person to both my husband and me. My husband, Bill, knew Tibor through the Shrine and the Masons and Straus Clothing. Tibor was also special to me as he looked out for my brother, Ken, his room mate at Rosewood. Tibor will be greatly missed and we share in your grief. We are currently in Florida and, sadly, will not be back in Fargo in time to attend the services.
