Tim graduated from Fargo North High in 1980, attended NDSS, and earned his degree in Plumbing. He had operated and owned his business “Haaland Plumbing” from 1995 to January of 2024 when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Tim and Patty (Sonnenberg) Braun were wed in 1990. Their marriage blessed them with three children.

He is survived by his four children, Jennifer (Dan) Dorsett, Brittany (Rob Huber) Haaland, Dustin (fiance, Rachel Simenson) Haaland, and Randi (Wesley) Keller; his six grandchildren: Parker, Tucker, and Rikki Huber, Camren, Raven, and Weston Haaland; mother, Eloise; sister, Angela (Merle) McConnell; girlfriend, Donna Grandbois; as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; grandparents, Phyllis and Miles Torgerson, and Bernice Fjeld; uncles, Bruce Haaland and Marc Torgerson; aunt, Marlene (Fjeld) Leenstra.

His happy place was his lake cabin on Loon Lake where he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play, driving his boat, and spending time with great friends and family. When Tim was away from the lake he enjoyed attending his grandsons hockey games, fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR races, and hanging out having a good time with his friends he called family. Tim was known for his bright blue eyes and his infectious playful energy. He could play a mean air guitar and make any hangout feel like a special event.

A memorial service will be held at Boulger Funeral home on Thursday, September 12th at 2:00 PM.

Forever in our hearts.
