Tricia Eback

tricia eback

Tricia Eback (Samuelson) 51 of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Saturday September 10th. Tricia was born November 17th, 1970 in Devils Lake, ND to Sam and Bernice Samuelson. Tricia Spent her youth in the Devils Lake area where she participated in gymnastics and spent time at her grandparent’s farm. It was there where she developed her strong work ethic and her love of gardening. When Tricia’s parents moved south, Tricia chose to remain in ND. In 1987 Tricia moved to Bottineau, ND with her sister and brother-in-law (Steve and Deb) and had her first son, Patrick. Tricia then went back to Devils Lake to finish High School, and attend collage during which she met her husband, Danny. In 1992 they had their first child together, Jerad. June 12th, 1993, Tricia and Danny were married and shortly after Nathan was born. In 1994 the couple bought their first home together and later that year, their only daughter, Stephanie was born. Tricia worked at the Old Main in Devils Lake as a waitress to support her family. In 1997 their final child, Justin, was born. In 1998 Tricia and Danny moved their family to Fargo, ND where Tricia continued working as a waitress, and making an endless number of friends and regulars, who she referred to as HER customers. Tricia worked hard to provide for her family but always made time for them attending any event her children were a part of. Tricia had an undeniable love for family and friends, always willing to help with any home improvement project even if it meant “breaking a fricken nail.” When Tricia became a young grandma in 2006, she made the comment: ”I can be the cool grandma that takes them to their first concert!” Tricia loved attending concerts and was not shy about dancing in the aisle-way. She was often not necessarily the life of the party but the backbone that planned and kept the party going. Tricia’s three dogs meant the world to her, often saying she loved them more then her kids because they listened to her better. “You’re all my favorite.”

Tricia is survived by her husband Daniel Eback, children Patrick (Cassie) Melville, Jerad (Amanda) Eback, Nathan Eback, Stephanie Eback, and Justin Eback all of Fargo. 6 Grandchildren, 3 four-legged children, Sister Debbie Morin (Minot), Mark Samuelson (Monroe LA) , Todd (Gwen) Samuelson Battle Mountain NV, Scott Samuelson Minot ND. 5 sisters-in-laws and 2 brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
