Urban C Weber

Urban C. Weber, age 81, of West Fargo, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Urban was born on June 15, 1944. He graduated from Dickinson University with a degree in Business Management, a foundation that supported a long and dedicated career. Urban proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during his time of service.

He devoted more than 30 years to Job Service of North Dakota, where he served as a respected Manager before his retirement. His work ethic, leadership, and commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on colleagues and the community.

On May 26, 1972, Urban married the love of his life, Darlene Parsons. Together, they shared nearly 54 years of marriage and 58 wonderful years side by side, building a life centered on love, family, and shared experiences.

Urban found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved golfing, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He held a special place in his heart for the North Shore of Minnesota and Carmel, California—places that brought him peace and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Johanna Weber; his sisters, Alice Weber, Leona Hammes, Toni Weber, Bernice Weber, and Albina Grieg; and his brother, Edward Weber.

Urban is survived by his devoted wife, Darlene Weber of West Fargo, ND; his children, Cody Weber of Montana and Reymie (Gordon) Van Surksum of California; four grandchildren, Jean-Luc Van Surksum, Joshua Van Surksum, Sheila Price, and Jessica Hansson; five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Bernadette Murray of Arizona.

Urban will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
