Jim Kelley, I delivered meals on wheels to Vern for several years. He was a very kind, caring individual who always had a kind word to say. We spend a good amount of time speaking, he reviewed his great love of his wife. Also his great pride that he had for his collection of Marilyn Monroe items, which he really enjoyed. He was my last delivery each day I had his route, so I could spend a little more time with him, which I really enjoyed. This past Christmas he presented me with a gift of a cross which lights up, I will remember him each time on turn this cross on. Rest in peace and in the hand of the Good Lord.
