Viola Meier

Viola M. Meier, 94 of Fargo, formerly of Seattle, WA, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo. Viola was born on August 23, 1915 in Lisbon, ND to Verne and Bertha (Yackley) Toyne. She attended school in Bale Township. Viola married Arvid Hutton on September 14, 1934 and moved to Seattle, WA in 1950. The couple was divorced in 1954. She married Thomas Meier on August 29, 1964. Thomas died on June 13, 2002. Viola then moved back to Fargo in 2007 where she has resided at Bethany Retirement Living. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Viola is survived by her sister, Mildred (Ervin) Fitterer of Fargo and many niece and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial Service: Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 am at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
