Violet Metcalf

Please run in Monday?s paper unpaid Violet F. Metcalf, 64, passed away at Meritcare South Campus Friday, September 26, 2003. Her funeral will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, at 11;00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2003. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo and one hour before the funeral in the church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton. Violet F. Metcalf was born to Robert and Vivian Flowers in Fargo on June 24, 1939. She grew up and attended schools in Fargo. Violet Flowers married Gail E. Metcalf in Breckenridge, Minnesota on December 3, 1955. They lived on the family farm near Barney, North Dakota where they farmed with their uncle and brother until selling the farm in 1977. Violet moved to Great Falls, Montana in 1981 and lived there until moving to Wahpeton in 1983. In 1990 she came to Fargo and in 1991 began work with Manorcare, Fargo where she was currently employed. She is survived by her Children Pamela (Ron Martell) Kinneberg, Lake Park, Minnesota Susan Metcalf, Ormand Beach.
