Guestbook

  1. FARGO ND
My thoughts and prayers have been with you. This journey is never easy, even though we know that Walt is in a better place. He’s at peace and has no more pain. All we can do now is honor him and hold onto the many special memories that Walt was a part of.Walt will be missed by many. He could walk into a room and everything seemed so much brighter, so much happier.

I was out of town and am truly very sorry to have missed his memorial service at Boulger. I send my sympathy and hugs to all of you.

    God Bless…..
    Barbara Van Dame

  2. Fargo ND
I was terribly saddened to hear about Walt. I first knew Walt in the Air Guard. When I retired and was working in Medora I got to know him better when he was visiting Ty. One thing about Walt, you had to stay ahead of him. I don’t know how successful I was but I sure enjoyed all the bantering. Our prayers are with his family.

  3. Fargo ND
Althou I have not seen much of Walt in the last several years. I have know him since my high school days. We was a very nice man and just before I had found out he was sick I had meet him at the south Cas Wise and I bet we talked for about 30 minutes. I am glad that I had a good visit with him. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to the family

  4. Fargo We live just 2 houses south of Walt and would often visit with him in the alley. If he noticed my tires didn’t look full he’d check them and fill them right on the spot- I really appreciated that he cared and was looking out for our children and myself. We will continue to keep Walt and your family in our prayers.

    God Bless,
    The Torres Family

  5. Hollister CaliforniaWe will always cherish the visits to California when we would sit and chat. The stories Walt and Nancy would tell us about there journey through life will always be remembered.

  6. Friends are the beautiful colors stitched by the gentle hands of time… into the fabric of our hearts. Walt’s heart never hardened, his temper never tired, his touch never hurt. His love didn’t make the world go round. His love made the ride worthwhile. We will miss you greatly, dear Friend.

  7. West Fargo ND
You will be missed. I know we did not see you often these past few years, but you were always a good man and very respectful of all. Also a very kind and giving man always willing to help, if you could.

I was sorry to hear that I had lost a friend. Although I had not seen you in some time, true friends never truly lose touch with each other – even when they have not spoken for a period time, they just pick up conversation, as though they had never stopped speaking.

I am glad that you are now with God and at peace, no longer suffering my friend. My prayers are with you and your family.

  8. Homewood ILWalter and his family were special friends of my parents Harry and Sara Platt. Walter could always be counted on to be there for my folks and I will always treasure the care he took of my mother Sara in her later years. He was a rock for me in my time of need.

May his memory be a blessing

  9. Fargo ND
    Having been in ND
ANG with Walt for 30 years I will always remember him as the smiling cook in the chow line, also he always had to time to stop and talk while shopping at the grocery store and he was always at the retiree breakfast until he became ill, way to young and nice person to leave us this young.

  10. Fargo ND
Walt was a great guy that we knew both through the ND
Air Guard and the food business. His folks were good friends of my folks too. He was always a cheerful, friendly smiling person and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  11. Fargo ND
I remember many conversations with the Jonas family and remember being at the lake and watching the christening of the child SOLLY JONAS. What a pleasant surprise. Right away I knew who this child was. Walter left us too soon .May his family be truly blessed

  12. Fargo Walter was one of my favorite patients. I loved seeing him & he will be missed by all of us.
