Tera, we grieve with you, as you know. Wayne was such a unique individual, so musical, so adept at any sport he tried. He and your mom made a great pair. We enjoyed playing cards with him for so many years. He is missed.
Thank you so much for your kind words
Tera and Emily-
Your dad/grandpa will be greatly missed. He was a kind and funny man who told great stories. We loved listening to him recall events in his younger years. Our hearts are hurting for you both.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Dad and Grandpa Wayne. Although we live in Wisconsin, we enjoyed visits or a meal out with Wayne when we visited in North Dakota. I was a bridesmaid at Karen and Wayne’s wedding in Kulm. You are in our prayers especially in these days and weeks ahead. He was so proud of you both.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Uncle Wayne- I loved your musical talent and am glad that Erica and I got to hear you singing at Carnegie Hall. And I also appreciate that you didn’t laugh when I squeaked my saxophone while doing a solo with my school’s swing band when we visited your school!
Thank you for the kind words
Tera, it was so sad to hear about Uncle Wayne passing. I remember all the music when he and his sisters got together. I was the flower girl in Wayne and Karen’s wedding. I actually still have the dress, hat and gloves that I wore–very pink. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Thank you for the kind words
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He & your mom were great friends of my parents. They had many great times playing cards & golfing. Prayers for you.

Thank you for the kind words
My sympathies to Tera and family. I was a senior at Kulm High School when Wayne assumed the music program. He was filling some big shoes of a predecessor who had built a very strong music program. Wayne assumed his responsibilities in a quiet manner and built the program even stronger. He always had a smile and he was able to get the best from us.
Thank you for your kind words
Heartfelt sympathy to you, Tera and Emily, on Wayne’s passing. He was such a faithful member of the Napoleon Care Center Board and so instrumental in assisting with obtaining funding for the Assisted Living unit. We’ve given a memorial there in his honor. Both of your parents were such dear friends and we enjoyed so many hours laughing and visiting together as well as planning and providing music for Trinity Lutheran Church. Wayne was admired by all who met him, and he will be sorely missed. God bless his memory.
Thank you for your kind words

Dear Lucht family:. So sorry to hear about your Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, etc.! He was a very fine principal. It is a tough job! After 32 years of teaching, I appreciate good, solid, principals! He was it! God bless! Take care, Jay Schneider and family.
Thank you so much for your kind words
Wayne was Brenda and my first principal as green teachers right out of college. We always appreciated that he had our back when we had occasional conflicts at school. He was certain to give us his personal view of the matter in private though! A great guy and an asset to this small community of Napoleon with all his talent. He will be missed.
Thank you so much for your kind words

Tera, I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. Your mom was my mom’s maid of honor. I remember stopping by your home in Napoleon to visit your mom several to times on our way home to Kulm.
At was so nice your dad moved to Fargo, so he could be close to your family. My parents did the same when they moved to Bismarck in 2011. I cherish the time we had with them especially the time my dad had with my children after my mom passed until he passed in 2020.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the coming days.
Thank you so much for your kind words
