Wayne Lee Miller Sr., age 80, of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Bethany Rehab in Fargo, ND.

Wayne was born February 13, 1945 in Fargo, ND to Clarence and Nellie (Offerdahl) Miller. He grew up in Moorhead, MN and married Donna Brooks of Moorhead in 1963. They resided in Moorhead and had two children, Wayne Jr. 1967 and Cheri 1970. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1975. Wayne later moved to Grand Forks/East Grand Forks until he retired in 2022 and moved back to Detroit Lakes.

Wayne attended watchmaking school in St. Paul, MN and devoted to his entire career as a Certified Master Watchmaker. Wayne loved lake life, fishing and boating and cherished spending time with family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his children Wayne (Pam) Miller Jr. and Cheri (Wayne) Willette. Grandchildren: Jamie (Justin) Skarie, Stephanie (Paul) Clark, Andrea (Brian) Palubicki, Alex (Betty) Willette; Great-Grandchildren: Karli Skari, Kelli Skari, Taylor Clark, Riley Clark, Teagan Clark, and Henry Palubicki all of Detroit Lakes; Neice: Janelle (Jay) Richards and Nephew: Joe (Janeen) Maddux of Moorhead MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Nellie Miller of Moorhead, MN; Sister, Lavon Kuvaas of Moorhead, MN; and companion Charlotte Bratvold of East Grand Forks, MN.

Our family is deeply grateful to Ethos Hospice and the staff of Bethany Rehab for their kindness, support and compassionate care in Wayne’s final days.
